Duties
- Supervises and coordinates daily kitchen tasks
- Manages operational flow, including order, stock and inventory
- Develops and creates menus and standard recipes with costing knowledge
- Develops and creates SOP for kitchen workflow
- Quality control on products and services
Requirements
- Must be willing to work in Brunei.
- Applicants should have a good command of English
- Daily 9 hour shift, 6 Days work week
- Food & Lodging provided throughout employment
- Min of 5 years of experience as Pastry Chef
- Good menu knowledge, able to manage cost control, good knowledge on hygiene and security standards for the whole kitchen
- Able to create and produce many kind of french pastry and bread such as Danish, croissant, macarons, Mousse, Eclair, Pain d'epices, Peche Melba, Tarte Tain, Custard tart, Mendiant, profiterole, souffle, Madeleine, Mille-feuille, Pain au chocolat
- Ability to handle responsibility, pay attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and show a high level of patience
- Possesses strong leadership with ability to work as a team
- Passionate, creative and an excellent hands on trainer
- Hardworking, highly motivated & disciplined, have a commitment & passion
